Aside from being a great tune, that is what today is. Summer has officially arrived with the solstice, but the weather has actually moderated compared to the past few days.
The corn is growing and so are the weeds. For the moment, the thistles have the height advantage.
As much as I hate thistles, there is a beauty about their blossoms that cannot be denied.
They are not the only weeds that are attractive as these delicate blossoms demonstrate amply.
Fractals occur regularly in nature, they are not just for mathematical entertainment.
There are many tiger lilies growing throughout Yucatan Valley. These happen to be next to the garage. I have often found them to be alien in appearance, though I can’t explain why.
